How do you add background images on cisco 7942 and 7962 IP phones?

HI,

Am trying to add graphics to my 7942G and 7962G IP phone models using callmanger version 7.1 but its not working.am using another guide which requires you to convert the GIF image into XML then upload it to to a given folder on the callmanger. i have followed every steps but its not working.

Anyone with an idea on the requirements and steps i should follow in order to add background image on my IP phones should help me out and i will realy appreciate.

You may use "Cisco Phone Designer" to upload images. Much more easier.

Go to www.cisco.com and search for "phone designer".

I put something together for adding backgrounds to phones a while back. I basically wanted to capture all the different settings for mutliple stations in one place so I could go back to it when I was in the field. Some may call it a blog, but this is sort of my internet-accessible notebook 😉
