You don't really give us enough information to help you. Here is an example I did for user VPNs terminating on an IOS router using certificate based authentication (and IKEv2 with Cisco AnyConnect).

I believe there is no certificate installed on the laptops.

I would like to validate whether a laptop belongs or not to the domain of my company when it connects in VPN.
Currently, validation is done per user in the ACS with group in the AD.
