Hello Felix,

I hope you are well. Here are a few things.

1) WiFi clients dictate roaming.

2) You could influence roaming with proper RF designs, controller configuration etc.

3) Security wise PSK and 802.1X enterprise, 802.1X has additional overhead if used on WiFi if the device doesn't support OKC and 11r for example.

Its a complicated subject to be honest ..
