Hi there

we have a WLC with about 25 LAPs and use WPA2 with PEAP and fast secure roaming (CCKM).

First of all there is the problem, that most of the access points are on power level 7, even if there are only 3 access points in a place with 3 different channels. What problem could there be?

This problem leads to a roaming issue, so there are timeouts while the client is roaming between the different access points. On the other hand, we have problems when the client roams with the reauthentication. In my opinion the client should not run through a full authentication (PEAP) when CCKM is enabled, but the client always authenticate against the ACS and does a full authentication. How can we resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Dominic
