roaming behavior between 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz

Hello

Duirng roaming (we use for auth. leap) between the 5Ghz to the 2.4Ghz and vice versa we lost up to 5 pings. Roaming in the same band we just lost maximum 2 ping. We have 1200 and Cisco a/b/g Cards.

Is it recommend to have profiles on the wireless card which support both bands (2.4 and 5)?

Has anybody the same experience during roaming between 2.4 and 5?

any input is very welcome

The WDS provides control path technologies that must be active on an AP in each AP subnet; a backup WDS can also be defined in each AP subnet. The WDS provides:
