WLC 5508 SYS LED Blinking Amber - ALM continuous on Amber - Power supply off - no console.

Dear All,

i have a cisco 5508 wireless controller suddenly it stopped working and started giving below led status.

SYS blinking amber - ALM continuous amber on and power supply LED OFF.

i am not able to console the device as well.

did anyone face this issue and what was the solution.

Contact Cisco TAC and organize for an RMA. The appliance is dead.

If you do not have concole access, we can do muich help here, if you have contract with cisco (raise TAC case for replacement).

no other solution other than RMA? i think cisco stopped supporting this device.

Most probably time to retire the kit and move to new model or look for refubished if you like to.

Issue was with the power supply unit got the PSU replaced and now working fine.
