Flexconnect WLC deploymnet

Hi,

I am looking to deploy a cisco wlc at American region. This WLC will act as a dedicated centralized WLC to which APs at different locations will join here on flexconnect mode.

This WLC will be anchored to an anchor WLC model 5508 Model.

As this is for a small-medium enterprise, can you suggest which model of WLC can be deployed here?

Go with 3540 (for small to medium) or 5520 (large)

The 3504 and 5520 can be anchored to the anchor wlc model 5508?

The following WLC platforms cannot be used for anchor functions, but can be used for standard controller deployments and guest mobility tunnel origination (foreign WLC) to a designated anchor controller(s):

- Virtual WLC

You should not have problems to anchor 3504 and 5520 WLCs

DOes the AP models 2802 and 3802 support flexconnect mode?

Yes both supported flexconnect mode.

Yes, just make sure you run at least 8.5.151.0. See the release notes for features not supported on the 2800 platform.
