Sorted, it seems upgrading the HA, somehow changed the MAC address for the Foreign WLC, so all external company's had to change theirs to match.

Possible new bug

cheers

Hi

Just upgraded 8510 from 8.0.120 to 8.0.140.

we have 3 in HA pair.

Issue, upgraded 1 WLC to 8.0.140 now the control path is down

eping work reponds

icmp respnds

mping fails.

These where working before hand, the other 2 HA are still working issues, so no issue with firewalls.

I've check edthe config, just can't find the issue, couldn't find a bug llisted for this. Waiting for a TAC call to be created but support company being a pain.

Any ideas?

cheers

Hi,

Delete the mobility group from all three WLC's and add it back on. Sometimes that is the issue especially if the FW is completely open.

Regards

Hey Craig ,

Thanks for this info about the mobility MAC getting changed. However, that is an old issue which has been reported a lot of times after upgrades or even without upgrades. Although , I don't remember if there is any bug open for this. or resolved.

Cheers,

Manish
