Client debug stops after closing SSH session

WLAN Controller: 5508

IOS: 8.2.160.0

To trouble shoot some client connections I'm trying to activate the client debug which works. But when I close the session the debug stops and is nowhere to be found when I reconnect to the console. The debug is being forwarded to the Syslog server.

Am I doing something wrong?

Commands:

> debug client XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

> debug aaa all enable

>save config

Nothing wrong here. This is an protection mechanism on the WLC to avoid resource exhaustion. This is the expected behavior.
