topic Mobiliy Anchors - Control and Data Path Down in Wireless

Hello I have been trying to join a new controller as a anchor to our primary WLC however I am getting Control and Data Path Down. When I run "debug mobility keep-alive enable" on the WLC I see messages stating that it cannot ping the anchor controller, however when I run a ping it works fine (see image).

I have rebooted both controllers, looking for other things to try.

Hi

This sounds like something is blocking mobility anchor ports. Ping use icmp which is not the same for eping and mping and it is not the same as the tunnel itself.

Make sure the path is free first, 99% the time is firewall or ACL.

-If I helped you somehow, please, rate it as useful.-
