Licensing regarding AIR-CT2504-5-K9 controller

Hello Experts ,

i would like to know about the part number AIR-CT2504-5-K9 which is for the 2500 series controller, the description says "2504 Wireless Controller with 5 AP Licenses". does this mean that it will come with the ap licenses pre-installed in it and we just need to get it activated ?

we would need to contact cisco to get the PAK keys for the licesnes to get it installed on the WLC ?

As per our experience ordering that type of model for many of our clients, the 5 AP license is already pre-loaded.

Also, just a heads on up licenses in general, you do not need to "contact" Cisco for the PAK Key, the PAK key/documentation comes with the box usually in a hard cardboard envelope. In rare cases it is sent in PDF form, it's often not directly sent to you(client), but to your distributor/systems integrator from where you bought it. Make sure to ask them if you bought additional licenses.
