Hi All,

We have a 3850 deployed at a site and have created a dedicated guest WLAN.

Have created a webauth parameter pages for global and guest. For the Guest we are using a consent type, but the end user is unable to get the splash page to authenticate.

Have enabled the http server option on the switch.

The DNS has no issues as like the DHCP

The user is able to connect to the page only when manually input https://1.1.1.1 on the browser.

What other possible checks needed for the web page to be available automatically upon selection of the SSID?

Hello,

DNS is a hot subject when it comes to redirect problems. You said you have no problem with DNS but keep in mind that not necessarily this means everything is fine.

As per the information that direct access to IP is ok, I'd take a close look on DNS part.
