Anyway below is your solution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First way, you can convert your ME image into CAPWAP with command "ap-type CAPWAP" in Privilege mode. Now AP will work as a CAPWAP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Another way if you are looking to install lightweight image in AP then you may load it via tftp server. Follow below procedure.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Step1. Assign IP address to your AP with command "capwap ap ip &amp;lt;ip address&amp;gt; &amp;lt;subnet mask&amp;gt; &amp;lt;default gateway&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Step2. Check connectivity between tftp server and AP using "ping"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Step3. After successful reachability use command "archive download-sw /reload tftp://&amp;lt;tftp server ip add&amp;gt;/&amp;lt;image file&amp;gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now image will start to load and will reboot once. Login with default username:&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Cisco&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;/EM&gt;and password: &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Cisco&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Robin&lt;/P&gt;</description>
