Hello;

     I am having two wism Modules and one guest controller. The mobility anchor is working fine. The controllers are running on 7.0.220.0 and WCS is running with 7.0.230.0.

In between 6PM-8PM we are getting the following alerts in the WCS.

WCS has detected one or more alarms of category Controller and severity Critical in Virtual Domain root for the following items:

1. Message: Controller '10.10.1.1'. All anchors of WLAN 'Guest' are down.

2. Message: Controller '10.10.1.1'. All anchors of WLAN 'Public' are down.

WCS has detected a change in one or more alarms of category Controller and severity Critical in Virtual Domain root.

The new severity of the following items is Clear:

1. Message: Controller '10.10.1.1'. An anchor of WLAN 'Guest' is up.

2. Message: Controller '10.10.1.1'. An anchor of WLAN 'Public' is up.

We are getting all these alerts within one minute. That means its going down and up with in one minute. Its not happening in all days.

Did you come across this kind of issues.

Thanks & Regards

Sreejith R

If your anchoring through a FW, then I would check to see if something is happening with the FW. Not that the FW is down, just to see if you see packets being dropped. If your internal WLC's mobility is rock solid and only your mobility anchors to your dmz wlc is being affected, I would look at what's in between. I had a co-worker who had an issue with some non Cisco FW and the FW was the culprit in the same scenario you are seeing. I don't know if there was a fix or not as it was a while ago.
