&lt;P&gt;I just rack 2 5520 controller but can't ping one of them. On that one, all LED or off except the Power Button...any ideas why?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Once is SSO, you will not be able to ping the backup unit. If the 5520's are not in SSO then each should have almost the same configuration except for hostname and any ip defined on the interface except for the VIP.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well everything is working fine. Since you have SSO enabled, you only can ping the primary management ip. The backup is in a standby state until the primary unit fails. When this happens, the backup unit becomes the primary and takes over the IP and mac of the primary that went down.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Maybe this will help explain things... when you enable SSO and the two units sync, the backup controller no longer has the IP address you have initially setup for that device. The unit now has limited function until the primary fails or you force a failover.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
