Adding AP to WLC

Hi Everyone,

I need to add 2 AP's to the WLC.

Need to confirm only 3 things needed on AP 's configuration:

IP address,Subnet mask and default gateway

I am trying to add new Access point to WLC.

So need to know the basic Network info like IP address subnet mask and default gateway I need

to do on AP?

Rest of the config AP should get automatically from the WLC when I connect the new AP to the

network right?

Do you have DHCP Option 43 enabled?

Depends on a few factors. One of the biggest gotchas in this forum are:

1. WLC running the wrong firmware;

2. AP not getting the correct IP address;

3. AP is not in the correct regulatory domain
