Hi Saman,

You can accomplish this with AP groups. I created a video how to do this with older code. The config process has changed a bit, but the AP group concept is the same:

http://www.my80211.com/cisco-wlc-labs/2009/3/22/cisco-ap-group-nugget.html

To configure AP groups with code 5.2 and above consulate the config guide.

If you find this helpful please support the rating system! THANKS!

Hi guys,

1. A Cisco WLC is connected to a Switch. 2 LWAPs (AP1 and AP2) are connected to that Switch. 2 SSID's (SSID 1 and SSID 2) are defined on the WLC. SSID 1 is tied to VLAN 1 and SSID 2 is tied to VLAN 2. Here is my question:

How would you manage the WLC to send only SSID 1 to AP1 so every client that connects to AP1 becomes a member of VLAN 1?

In my real world project, each building will have a switch with tons of APs connected to. I want all the users at buliding A to be in VLAN 1 (ONE subnet) and that's it.
