It could very well be an issue with the internal memory card that the flash sits on, if you have smartnet on the unit it's best to call TAC and have them RMA the unit.

You could as Stephen reccomended call TAC and try the 3-file process which I have done more than once and it has always worked for me...

I have also repaired an out of warranty out of smartnet unit as well by replacing the internal memory card, but that's not reccomended.

HTH

A. The reason for this error might be a hardware issue. Open a TAC case to further

troubleshoot this problem. In order to open a TAC case, you need to have a valid contract

with Cisco. Refer to Technical Support in order to contact the Cisco TAC.

This is the answer from one cisco doc : http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/102/wlc-error-system-faq.pdf

But I think this can't be hardware problem . The problem showed up after IOS upgrade.

that does indeed appear to be an issue with the box, could be software though. I've seen this be fixed by a three file upgrade, option 3. but to get those files you need to open a TAC case.

Flip side, I've seen it not work. If you're going to open a TAC case, would probably be best to just RMA the box.

HTH,
Steve

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please remember to rate helpful posts or to mark the quesiton as answered so that it can be found later.
