topic After reset to factory in Wireless

Can not access to managerment IP add on Cisco 2504 WCL

I have a new 2504 Wireless Controller. I configured managerment IP (10.10.1.10). But my laptop cannot access to this IP add on my Browser. I can't receive IP 10.10.1.x from 2504 WC. Then I set static IP for laptop but i can't accesss to managerment IP too. Continue, I reset 2504 WC to the factory default by Reset button. however I can't access to managerment IP (192.168.1.1)
What's happend? Why i cant access to managerment IP?

If your connecting your laptop direct to port 1, then you need to untagged the management vlan.

May be you had configured a VLAN x or y , you need to set that to vlan 0.

Use the command on WLC CLI: config interface vlan management 0

Then you will be able to ping the management interface and connect to it via the GUI.

After reset to factory default. I can't login to WLC by new IP managerment
IP managerment: 192.168.9.50
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
default getway: 192.168.9.254

VLAN ID: 9
Is that wrong?

I connect direct to port 2 from my laptop. I set static IP 192.168.9.25 for laptop.

But Cannot ping to IP managerment.

why you set the vlan 9 ? it must be set to 0 to access the WLC directly from your laptop.

while configuring wlc , give mgmt vlan to 0.

Console port is very important. I would RMA that device if you have support on it. Console is a life saver in my opinion.
