Hello Admin Eastland,

To what Prime version do you want to upgrade to?

You cant go from 2.2 to 3.5/3.6 directly. The path would look something like this:

2.2 -> 3.0 -> 3.1 -> 3.5 -> 3.6

I would wait with 3.6 until a patch or two have been released.

I suggest letting the 2.2 installation stay as long as possible before shutting down that one down to verify functionality.

One way to do this is to do a full backup of 2.2. Install a new 3.0 VM with a different IP and import the backup. Do a full backup and import to a 3.1 VM, Full backup and import to 3.4 and one more to get to 3.6.

You could also do steps with inline upgrades but I have had some bad experiances with corrupted databases that way.

Check each version for installation steps so you know how to do backups/imports and upgrades.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/cloud-systems-management/prime-infrastructure/products-installation-guides-list.html

regards,
Jonas
**Don't forget to rate helpful posts**
