The Ap is working fine with flexconnect local switching and local authntication enabled are checked but only if it is connected with controller.

We have a VPN between remote office and the HQ. controller is sitting in HQ. The remote site Ap only works if the VPN is up. As the flexconnect local switching should allow the Ap to work in standalone mode as well.

Any thought will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks Scott,

If the Ap lost the connection with controller then client does not get automatic association with Ap. They have to manually disconnect and reconnect again. I am trying to get more information about Ip address etc.
