      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;An access point connects to a switch. Now you have autonomous and lightweight access points. Autonomous are stand alone AP's and require a configuration. A lightweight AP requires a wireless LAN controller. Lightweight AP's are considered thin AP's because the WLC manages the AP configuration.
