Hi,

I am planning to implement LAP in my network, (1250 and 1140 series)

I would like to know what is the minimum and maximum Characters can be assigned to an LAP.

Normally names can be upto 63 characters...

minimum is 1 i guess.. not sure, i hv not tried..

Practical experience.. and also came to know using the below doc..

the doc is for autonomous.. however, if we have the LAP and if we issue the command "debug lwapp/capwap console cli" , "config t" , hostname , its the same..

I have read one more document from cisco site,

here for 1200 series AP they have mentioned "You can enter up to 32 characters for the system name."

thats why I wanted to confirm will LAP support more than 32 characters or not.

I am designing a Wireless for Company, these details are required to complete my decision.
