My boss asked the question the other day if it was possible to base a guest wireless user's account expiration on whether the account was being used or not. He states that on some networks his account remains active as long as he connects once every 30 days. Is there a way to emulate this behavour with WCS 5.2 and a 4402 controller?

If you're using an external directory, of course, you may be able to set up rules to make this happen at the directory level. For example, it would be easy enough to set up the desired solution in Active Directory... you just wouldn't be able to use the lobby ambassador feature, as your guest accounts would have to be created in the AD rather than in WCS.

Hmmmm. Interesting idea. I would prefer keeping the guest account management as simple as possible, but if pressured that would definitely be an option.

Thanks
