Flex Mode APS

In one Project we are using 5760 WLc & IOS version 03.06.04.E they are two Buildings one is main building & other is building is like branch office in which they are 6APS.

I want to make these 6 APS as Flex Mode in APS Mode i am not able not find Flex Mode.

Regarding WLANS we need two create separate for FLEX APS or Same WLAN which is using Main Building.

Hi Syed,

Unfortunately the 5760 does not support FlexConnect mode, APs must be in Centralised (local) or converged access mode.

Normally you could use Flex mode to be covered under a single WLAN as you were planning however you may need to consider a different way of deploying things, unless you are OK with tunneling all traffic centrally from the branch.

Do you have converged access capable switches at your branch office?

in our project the distance between building is short is more than 100mts and in that building connecting is with out door APS and in that building cisco switches with stack only.

can give over view concept of Flex Mode how it will work in 2504 & 5508 WLC.
