Hi,

All Aps work well in the WLC with new firmware.

APs 1600 and 1700 not have problem in 8.3.

My problem is the clients losing the connection with AP.

Hello everyone,

I have WLC 2504(8.2.161.0) and Aps 1702I(15.3(3)JC8) and 1602I(15.3(3)JC8).

I have 3 problems.

1º When you try to connect to the SSID Corp, for example, the connection is delayed or not connected. If you try again, the connection may successful.

2º After a stable connection, some clients end up losing connection (even though they have not been launched in the place) and the return signals, returning to stage 1.

3º Some of these clients sometimes after connecting receive the message that the connection is limited, but does not perceive problems, the client can use the network and normal browsing.I have already updated the wireless card driver, set a fixed DNS to isolate, have already tested on other devices and have the same symptom.

In the logs of APs I see why sometimes the radio interfaces flapping are down/UP.

ADM-AP04

However the times and amounts of time the problem occurs does not hit. I have more incidence of the problem than the one reported in the logs

Check the data sheets or specification of the wireless clients and compare the data rates enabled on the controller. This log states that the wireless client is (possibly) only configured to support low data rates while your controller is configured for high-speed data rates.

Be careful when applying 8.3 updates. Many APs will only work with 8.0.x. Read the notes for supported APs before applying any updates or you will lose half of your wifi AP's.

Hi,

All Aps work well in the WLC with new firmware.

APs 1600 and 1700 not have problem in 8.3.

My problem is the clients losing the connection with AP.

Invalid Supported Rates from stat 00 00 00 03
Did you turn off some of the data rates on the WLC, if so turn then back and see if that helps.
David
