Hi everyone,

I have an issue. One of my APs is constantly disassociated from the controller even if it is reachable all the time. My company uses a couple of Cisco 5500 WLCs, and the AP is a AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9. Below the AP's time statistics.

Time Statistics

UP Time

Controller Associated Time

Controller Association Latency

No loggs registred on the access switch about the AP's interface and no error detected.

What can be the root cause?

Hello Ahmed,

Can you get next output from 5508 regarding the 2701 AP? You need AP's MAC address

"show ap join stats detailed <AP Ethernet MAC>"

You can get AP's Ethernet MAC by using "show ap summary"

This may give you an initial idea about a reason for AP disconnect.
