I would look at the 1702, 2702 or 3702 models and stay away from the x80x series. If you are just looking for normal coverage, the 1702 is a lower end AP that works. If the ceiling isn't over 25ft, then the 1702i, 2702i or 3702i will work fine. AP preference depends on budget also. Make sure you have enough AP's for coverage and density as the rule of thumb you will find in the forums is 25-30. If the 1702's are still out of your budget, then look at the older models like the x60x.

Many of my customers used the high end AP's like he 3x02's but the few that went with the 1x02's had no issues and good user experience.

A site survey is also a good thing to have done so you know how many AP's and what type of AP/antenna. Open space is different that closed space and even distribution areas with racks and products.

So the 2x02 and 3x02 again is

So the 2x02 and 3x02 again is what I have used in a majority of my installs. The 3x02 allows for a module which if you will not be using it, then the 2x02 is a good choice. No matter what you end up with, ensuring you have coverage (-67dbm) everywhere especially on 5ghz and enough AP density for the amount of clients is key. If you don't meet these requirements, AP model doesn't matter. Sounds like your options are open which is good and understanding about the value of a site survey is a plus.

One AP is good to get started two is helpful if you have experience in site survey and if the area to survey is very large.
