Just because people can't you should assume it's interference. You should look at each user case by case. I run a very large wireless network and a all wireless office with hundreds of users. I can tell you 90% of my wireless connection problems are client devices ..

If you know there is a lot of interference on the 2.4ghz, then you either need to try to eliminate the interference if possible (microwave ovens, wireless cameras, etc) or purchase access points with 5ghz radios. Of course that means that your devices have to also have a 5ghz radio. So as long as the devices are not very old, that would really be your best option. You could try to change the ap channels, but if you have RRM enabled that should help. The newer access points have CleanAir feature that helps with identifying interference and choosing the best channel. That would mean you would need to swap out all your APs for a newer model. It might be a good time to invest in the newer APs as the 1140's are EOS.

-Scott

This issue is due to lot of interferences that are created because of few things. You need to focus on removing the interferences so that the signal can propagate properly.

Also with the help of Cisco New Clean Air Technology this issue can be resolved.
