      <description>&lt;P&gt;hello all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am new in wireless , i have Cisco wireless controller 2504 for 50 access point,&amp;nbsp; access point 1262 and switch 3560.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i setup the controller correctly and i contect it to the switch and connect the AP to the switch.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i can ping from the AP to the controller and vis versa.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but the controller can not joint the AP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please any help or idea.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;best Regards&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure the time (NTP) is set correctly on the WLC. Also place the AP's on the same vlan (for now) as the WLC. Console into the AP and make sure the AP is getting an IP address.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear scott&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I modify in my topology so like below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;WLC connected to switch by Trunk linke,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AP connected to switch by access mode in deffirent vlan.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the IP address sechma :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1- WLC 192.168.10.1 , Gateway in switch&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 192.168.10.254 ( vlan 10 )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2- AP 10.10.10.2 ( DHCP ) , Gateway in switch 10.10.10.254&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; (vlan 20)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DHCP server its the switch is self , we enable option 43&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Images &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; AP Image : C1260 Software (AP3G1-K9W7-M), Version 12.4(25d)JA1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; WLC Image : Primary Boot Image............................... 7.2.103.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But still AP can't join the WLC !!! i follow the steps in cisco doc's.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so please more help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thnx&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Firmware version of AP K9W7 is autonomous so autonomous ap never join WLC . First you need to change firmware autonomous to LAP which is k9w8 then AP registered with WLC.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
