"Can someone please help in finding a CLI command on the Light Weight AP: 1572, 1562, IW3702 & 2802

to change its Channel both in 2.4G and 5G."

Below show an example shows how to change the channel (to 60) for AP named AP1. In 2.4GHz, you can use 802.11b with the same command syntax.

(WLC1) >config 802.11a disable AP1
(WLC1) >config 802.11a channel ap AP1 60
(WLC1) >config 802.11a enable AP1

"Also can goto the config terminal using: debug capwap con cli

But this command doesn't seem to work on 2802 AP"

That's correct. 1800/2800/3800/4800 got a different OS called Click OS. So previous "debug capwap console cli" command won't work.

https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless-mobility-documents/what-is-quot-cos-ap-quot/ta-p/3773947

HTH

Thanks Rasika,
Actually the commands you sent are for the WLC CLI..
I was asking from the CLI of the AP. ( 1572, IW3702 and 1560)
And also for CLI of AP 2800, that seems to have a different OS.
Also is there a replacement of : debug capwap con cli ( for 2800 AP)

if these APs are managed by a WLC, then you should change configs using WLC to retain through a power cycle. Otherwise every change you make locally at the AP cannot be saved.

There is no equivalent command in Click OS.

HTH
