Hello, Sorry for delayed response... Thanks for your reply... But did not succeed with your suggestions..

client utility (pocket Pc 2000) does not allow me to change the destination MAC address... (Since that gets changed at the the moment i save it and exit).. I have tried with INFRASTRUCTURE MODE as well as with the ADHOC mode... surprisingly only the ADHOC mode shows some activity in STATUS screen... still the message i keep getting is "350 radio is not associated" Blink pattern as mentioned in the first post.

Harsh

Client adapter does not associate with AP... HELP!!

Hello all, Here is a peculiar problem for me

a. I have got CISCO 350 Wireless LAN adapter for Ipaq Pocket PC 2000(Win CE 3.0)...AIR - PCM352 to be precise..

b. Yesterday, I was able to connect using through the wireless access points... and the device was on wireless...

c. Today i started having trouble... my AIRONET Client utility says: -

350 series radio not associated...

d. Other things 2. I have checked "SSID, Firmware and Infrastructure" are matching...

e. One question.. how to specify a specific access point to which i want to connect(we have multiple access points from different vendors and they are placed very near to each other)....

f. Yesterday, when it got connected, it got connected seamlessly without ANY problems..(without even indicating which access point to choose)But today i started having problems.

g. Current mode is INFRASTRUCTURE - enabled yes.

In Signal Strength no value shown

In Signal Quality no value shown (yesterday it was showing full graphs here)

h. STATUS light blinks continously and

ACTIVITY light briskly (very fast)...5-6 times(not sure exactly 5 or 6)... then pauses for 1-2 seconds..

i. Please this is really(!!!) urgent for us... awaiting urgent response...

Harsh

What Login Method are you using if any?

It may possibly be an Encryption misconfiguration which prevent the client from seeing the AP.

To specify an Access Point you should use the Client utility and edit the active profile, click the Infrastructure TAB and enter the MAC address of the specified Access point.

Also check that there is nothing causing a lot of noise on the channel you are using, maybe try changing the channel.

Have you made any changes to either the Client or AP?

If your client is MAC authenticated on the AP, check the AP again to see if your client's MAC address is still there.
