Autonomous 1142N & Web Authentication

Hi all,

is it possible to have an autonomous 1142N access point use Web Authentication to utilise guest services on the Cisco ISE? Or is a controller needed for this?

The problem is that we have a controller but it only hosts Local Mode AP's. I understand that we cannot add any Flex Mode AP's to this as it will break the Pre-Posture & Post-Posture ACL config that we have on the Cisco ISE.

This questions is 50% wireless & 50% security, so I am posting here in the hope that someone can answer with experience on Wireless & Cisco ISE..

Autonomous access point is NOT supported with ISE. So you need to ask in the security forum if the latest version of ISE supports what you want.
