Hello,

Please I need to know if i can use WLC5508 as local AAA server for Guest WLAN users trought web portal

Yes, you can do this. Under Security > Local Net Users, you need to add the usernames and passwords for the users that you want to allow to authenticate.

hi,

i have create local user mapping to the guest ssid profile. i have enabled web policy with authentication for this ssid but when i connect to it i receive the dhcp param but i can't get the web authentication page i can see the header on the windows but the page still blank.

The same issue with passtrought mode.

The url seen requested is ip address of wlc management interface configured as dns ip add on dhcp pool.

when i remove webpolicy i get access to internet.

please any idea about this usuee.

that's odd. The web redirect should show the address of the virtual interface and not the management interface.

Can you post the show run-config from the WLC?
