Hi,

I just bought an Aironet 1141 (AIR-AP1141N-A-K9) with IOS (C1140-K9W7-M, Version 12.4(21a)JA1) . I have 2 issue with it:

1- I just had the 2.4-GHz Radio and there is no 5-GHz radio anymore in web base interface.

2-I need to connect to my Aironet access point with 300Mb Data Transfer Rate but my max speed is 54Mb right now

Note: I already setup WPA-pre shared key on the access point

Please help me to find a way to fix these issues.

Thanks

Mike

the 1141 is a single radio AP. If you need the 5GHz, you need to order teh 1142N.

For the N / High throughput rates you have to either configure WPA2/AES or Open as the encryption, WMM must be allowed. That is per spec.

It is not normally recommended to do a channel bond on the 2.4Ghz as there are only 3 non-overlapping channels. But you may be able to do so, if this is your only AP. If you have more than one AP, then you will not be able to do this without significant RF complications
