topic 1200 aironet working with network DHCP server in Wireless

I have 8 1200's connected a local network, they are using a radius server for 802.1x. The client machines are suppose to get a DHCP address from the DHCP server on the same network as the AP's (that have static addresses), so far I have only once been able to get an IP to my laptop and that was after messing with the mobile ip settings on the 1200, is there something I am missing? How do I get clients a DHCP address from the network?
