I am using local PEAP profile on local WLC and "local net users" associated to it.

But scan gun cannot connect:

what could be cause of this problem?

Do the scan guns have the WLC CA Cert for PEAP authentication?

Some of these devices will not associate if they do not validate the server certificate.

Any reason your using local net users for the auth rather than a repository?

From the WLC CLI do a

debug client <MACADDRESS> 
debug aaa all enable
show debug

And post the output when the client attempts to auth

Also what model is the scanner

per my view, this design is to keep it as simple as possible.

I've rebooted that scan gun and it successfully connected.
