We tried to take backup of Cisco prime for one of our end client using remote repository. But the problem is now the backup size is 43gb and the ftp server size is only 17gb. So it failed. Is there any other way to take backup apart from defaultRepo?

You should be able to setup your external FTP server as repository in Prime and take a backup on to that external FTP server directly.

Have a look below post, which I have done that

https://mrncciew.com/2014/12/18/how-to-go-there-pi-2-2/

HTH

Hi Rasika,

Thank you for your reply. We did with external ftp server only. Actually the prime needs to upgraded. But the size of the ftp server is less than the backup file size. Is there any other way ?

No other way, You have to take backup & keep it external to PI server.
