4402 controller & IAS 802.1x problem

Hi everybody,

We are trying to authenticate wireless clients using radius server and 802.1x protocol. Client wireless interface status remains "Validating Idenitity" and IAS server giving the following error :

An Access-Request message was received from RADIUS client WLAN_CONTROLLER_TEST with a message authenticator attribute that is not valid.

Hi Ozan

What IP address are you using as the RADIUS client on the IAS Server?

Are you using the controller management IP address?

I have seen issues on some versions of controller code where the IAS Server needs the controller logical interface IP address (associated with the WLAN) as the RADIUS client.
