I have an AP group that I need to block all mobile phones/devices on during the work day. I have tried applying local policies but it does not seem to take. I am still able to connect via my iPhone and Android. Is there something I am missing? Any help is appreciated!

Can you share the configuration of your local policy and the WLAN concerned ?

Is the phone being profiled correctly? at the WLC Monitor->Clients page you can see it is detected as Android-Phone, etc?

If profiling is not working, then the local policy won't work either.

Make sure you have HTTP and DHCP Profiling enabled at the WLAN. And the Local Policy applied at the WLAN as well.
