APs disjoined from the controller suddenly.

Dear All,

i have two WISM and 200 APs in our company. 10 access points down suddenly. i made a switch ports reset to return them back up. but this happing many times. i got the error logging from the controller as seen below:

May 02 19:48:51.098 sim.c:913 SIM-3-GW_MISMATCH: MAC address of the GW 00:25:b4:da:20:00 recieved in the JOIN Request differs from the cached MAC addr 00:00:0c:07:ac:01 of the Gw. Deleting the Gw IP 10.15.0.250 for the AP Mgr & sending ARP req. for resolv

May 02 19:48:51.098 sim.c:907 SIM-3-ARP_DELETE_FAIL: Deleting the entry with IP 10.15.0.250 and Mac Address: 00:00:0c:07:ac:01 Failed

What is the code version you are using?

It seems you are using wrong gateway IP address under AP manager interface. Please double check and make sure the gateway is correctly specified under AP Manager interface.

The GW is correct in AP manager interface. i forgot to mention the 10 APs are same always when they are going down from 200 APs. regarding to the code version is 4.2.205.0.

Mohammad, what is the etherchannel loadbalancing enabled on the supervisor engine? please make sure it is source destination ip

please have a copy of show tech from the Supervisor as well as show run-config from WISM controllers

How the APs are interconnected ?

pickup the MAC address of one of the affected APs and have the following debugs running on the cotnroller

the APs suppose to Join:

debug mac addr < mac addr of the AP>

debug lwapp events enable

debug lwapp errors enable

debug pm pki enable

Also collect the output of the following debugs from the AP:

debug lwapp client event

debug lwapp client error

Console into the WAP and post the entire bootup process.

Did the WAPs affected reboot by any chance?
