folks

i've been given a project to install a new wireless network (cisco) including access points, controllers etc

unfortunately i don't have any experience of wireless so i''m looking a recommendation for a good book that will cover implementation and maintenance

we already have a design but i need to setup and configure the relevant kit

There are a lot of videos also which are helpful. Kind of tough to learn on your own though unless you have a lab:).

Who came up with the design if I may ask. The reason being, if this is your very first implementation, how can you understand or know if its a good design or not? Even if you we're given a design by Cisco or a vendor, you really have to know if its a design that can work in your environment or not.

thanks for your input, its greatly appreciated

the design is pretty straightforward i just need to start thinking about how to configure and implement a basic wireless network

i'll most likely have a staff network and a guest network so i'll start with the links and such from yourself and george
