One of my coluge work in a organization . This organization has own campus where have office , Auditorium, Guest Building, Residential area and Training

Center. They plan all the campus work with in Wireless Network.

For that reason which keypoint is need considered and need advise for product selection.

1. AP 1042/1142/1242 which will be effective ????

2. For large Auditorum or free space which AP is effective

3. For Coverage residential area which AP and Antennea will be effective.

or have any other suggation then put in here which will help to prepare the entire project.

If you are new to wireless I would be advisable to consult with a Cisco Partner in your area to discuss you options and needs. You have lots of options based on your budget.

Most folks deploy the contoller solution with 802.11n access points. The newer access points 3500 series support Cisco clean air. The WLC will also allow guest access.

But again, better to chat with a local Cisco partner. I would also advise a site survey.

I have disscuss , at a conclution 1140 and 1252.

1142 series will good beased on demand. for Auditorium and residential 1252 is good becuse use external Anteena.

1142 is support by Lan Controller 2500 , my question is 1252 is also support by lan Controller 2500 ?

1. I wouldn't use 1250 because it's end-of-sale. The 1260 is replacing this model.

2. I wouldn't use the 2500 because it is slow and has very limited performance. I would go with the 5508 instead.
