Hi.

I am setting up a WLAN and wanted som input on some things. I have come to the understanding that the NME-AIR-WLC6-K9 support 802.11n standard, i was hoping that someone could confirm this. Is it also so that the NME-AIR-WLC6-K9 module kan be configured in such a way that the accesspoints can all broadcast multiple SSID, lets say 10-15 SSID and that every accesspoint i set up broadcasts the same ones.

Regards Tommy Svensson

However Each Access point can broadcast only 16 SSIDs, so if you have more that 16 SSIDs then you need to configure the AP grouping or Wlan override feature to accomplish this.

lemme know if this answered your question..

Regards
Surendra
====
Please dont forget to rate the posts which answered your question and mark it as answered or was helpfull

Thank you for the quick awnsers. Just to clarify, the CISCO NME-AIR-WLC6-K9 supports 802.11n and it can be used as long as the accesspoints and of course networkcards on computers support it to?

Is it also possible to assign every SSID to different VLANs for security?

Does the solution support any of these accesspoints below and does these have LWAAP enabled? I read somewhere that the accesspoints needed to be LWAAP-enabled in order for the NME-AIR-WLC6-K9 module to control them.

AIR-LAP1042N-E-K9
AIR-AP1141N-E-K9
AIR-LAP1141N-E-K9
AIR-AP1142N-E-K9

Much appreciated if someone could shine som light on these issues.

Regards Tommy Svensson
