    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I believe that falls under the catagory of a "security feature."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you also cannot ping from wireless device-to-wireless device, the you may have secure packet forwarding enabled (prevents one wireless client from being able to "attack" another wireless client).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can disable secure packet forwarding easily in the "Interfaces" page of the WebGUI. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check it out, let us know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good Luck&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scott&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Cannot ping the BVI interface over wireless - WHY ???</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi...  I have a 1230 AP.  I can ping the BVI from the ethernet side but not from the radio side.  I can ping other devices on the ethernet side from the radio side.  And I even see the WAP and the wireless client in the ARP table of both devices.  Is there some reason I cannot contact the WAP from the wireless side ??&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
