CAP means the AP is

CAP means the AP is lightweight and requires a controller to configure the AP. You would not be able too ssh into the AP unless your configure that once the AP has joined a controller. If you don't have a controller, then you need the AP in autonomous mode and that requires you to have access to download the image so you can convert that AP from lightweight to autonomous. If you need instructions on the conversion, just search on the internet for Cisco lightweight to autonomous conversion and you will feel me many links and videos.

You will need to have access to the downloads which happens if you have a support contract.
