      <description>&lt;P&gt;hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we have a couple of access point Cisco AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9 that are configured as lighweight access point.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can we convert these access point to mesh firmware ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We need to configure these access point in Bridge mode as RAP or mesh access points as MAP&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;is it possible ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;kind regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cristiano&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the AP is already in lightweight mode (connected to a WLC) you can change the mode to 'Bridge' which is effectively mesh mode, and then set up the AP&amp;nbsp;as a RAP or MAP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.cisco.com/legacyfs/online/media/untitled_36.png" class="migrated-markup-image" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There isn't a 'Mesh' firmware, the options are either lightweight or autonomous. &amp;nbsp;Mesh is only available using a WLC and therefore lightweight AP software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pete.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
