We'd like to mount several WAP321 Access Points in our new building. Does it make a difference if they are mounted horizontally or vertically? It would be easier to mount them on walls, but would that provide coverage across a floor of the building, or will it reduce coverage? Thanks!

That ap is meant to be mounted on the ceiling or on a mount that allows it to be horizontal. You might be able to use one of these.

http://www.oberonwireless.com/WebDocs/Model1029-00_Spec_Sheet.pdf

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

AP's with external antennas allow you to mount the AP's vertically on the wall. These internal antenna access points are meant just for horizontal mounting.

Thanks for using the rating system.

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App
