Is is possible to set encryption on a 1252 as both tkip and aes and expect that clients with either aes or tkip will be able to associate with the AP?

Is that a 1252AG ? For the 5Ghz radio I believe it doesn't support AES, so I'm planning on configuring AES instead of TKIP.

It is a AIR-AP1252G-A-K9

And I found out that it does both aes and tkip. And it works just fine.

We are starting to deploy N capaable clients and as I have been testing I see that with just one N client associated I am getting the full bandwidth possible of 144Mb on the 2.4 Ghz radio.

You need to configure WPA2/AES or Open Authentication to avail of "N".
