I have a vlan that has been defined on my core switch with the following config

interface Vlan50

description WLAN

ip address xx.xx.xx.xx xx.xx.xx.xx

on the controller, WLAN interface has been created referencing the above mentioned

On my core switch, i have connected gi4/41 onto the controller. I have defined this as a trunk port.

Config:

interface GigabitEthernet4/41

description *AP Controller*

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport mode trunk

speed 100

duplex full

I am able to ping this vlan ip on my core switch. However, i am not able to ping the vlan ip from the controller?

any ideas?

This is a normal behaviour. On the controller the management interface is the only consistently pingable interface. All other dynamic interfaces will not be pingable.
